Why are there different sizes for motorcycle gloves? Because everyone has different size hands and deserves to ride comfortably and with maximum ease. The same should be true for your motorcycle bars and grips! We launched SMF-Moto to sell Clip-On Micro Bars and related products for motorcycle riders with smaller hands. 

My family of four loves racing Mini-Moto, and we all have very different size hands. With Clip-On Micro Bars our hand controls are now individually tailored, and yours can be too!

The Origin of Clip-On Micro Bars

"I noticed when you go around the last corner and onto the straight you close the throttle when you stand the bike up. Is there a reason you aren't staying full throttle all the way down the straight?" I asked my daughter after a family day at the track.

She said "I'm scared I can't stop!" and then told me she was having a hard time reaching the front brake.

Like any Dad, I immediately dove down a rabbit hole for a solution to accommodate her small hands. I found some options for dirt bikes that I attempted to adapt. They worked okay, but there were still some shortcomings. I also could not find any options intended for road use. In the end, I worked with a local manufacturer to fabricate Clip-On Micro Bars for road racers with small hands. We now have multiple members of the family using them as well.

After refining the design some more, I realized that there might be other people out there that would appreciate using Clip-On Micro Bars for better control and comfort, but also being able to easily reach their clutch and front brake. So with that, I started ClipOnMicroBars.com our very small business and online store.
